“The Skull and the Arrow” In the Cave

I’ve been badly beaten by lots of people. As I wonder around the wilderness I see a cave it looks very warm and comfortable. The near and near I get so anxious because its cold and it’s raining because and I can barely see with all the blood covering my eyes. When I enter the cave I start to make a fire. It’s so warm and I try to heat up some water and I start drinking it. As I lay down I huddle up because its freezing and I feel warmth come to my body and bones.  I also felt peaceful and nice when I knew that I wasn’t getting beaten. It felt good to lay down on the sand.

A time when I was an underdog was when some kid said he could beat me in basketball. Well the kids name was Albert and he was really huge and scary looking. At first I thought that he could  probably beat me but after we started to play I thought I had a slight chance of beating him. As we played he got very aggressive and physical like elbowing and stuff like that.

Like the narrator in “The Grandfather” by Gary Soto, I compare some of the students here at San Pasqual Academy as family because they are there for me sometimes and when I need them. I consider Tashanna as my family because she always there for me and also when I need her she is always there for me. She gives me streangth because she tells me whats wrong and whats right. A time when when I was dependedon her was when she looks after me.A tree symbolizes family because as the tree grows so does the family. When a branch grows its like another child being born.

“The Grandfather” Three Meanings of the Tree Paragraph

The most symbolic item in this story would be the tree because it represents the family and how the family grows. The tree represents the grandfather because it starts as a seed and the grandfather starts of  by himself and the tree starts of by a seed. The tree represents the narrator because it says how the family grew and also how the tree grows. The tree represents the family because as the tree grows the family also grows . Trees are like trees because we start from little seeds and grew.

My significant person would be my step dad. I feel like the item that symbolizes him would be a lion. One similarities between my dad and the lion would be the lion is very protective of his cubs.My dad is also very protective of me. He once chipped his tooth trying to block my fall down the stairs. Like the great lion my dad is a hunter. He works hard and when my mom failed at providing food, my dad made sure I was Feed. As the lion is strong physically my dad is emotionally strong. Also when people abandoned me he made me strong with his encouraging ways helping me to go on when I lost everything. I know if I told this to, my step dad  I think he would be really happy that, that would makes his day. I think he would be grateful and flattered by my words. My step dad tries to do everything for his "cubs" or as you can say his children. My step dad would tell me how much he loves and me how good of a daughter I am, but more importantly he shows me.

A person who means a deal to me is my stepdad because he took the place of my birth dad that's why I love him more than anything in the whole entire world. My dad is awesome he also is a great a dad he fullfiles  everything a dadwould do. Also he will buy you anything he has a good sence of humor and is handsmone.
He is important to me because he get's me anything I want. Also he like I said he took the p-lacement of my birth dad. My current relationship with that person is great we have a great a relationship-.

House Symbols

I think a heart symbolizes our house which is G1. To most people, this item is just means a sign of love but to our house it means more than love . To use it means friendship and relationship because we all love each other but we also have other love. Our house G1 love each other.
